In One-Punch Man, there are thousands of monsters and heroes. Each has a different power from the others, some even having unlimited potential. In contrast, others can give other people an absurd amount of power.

It is worth mentioning that more powerful enemies may appear in One-Punch Man, making this list obsolete in the future, so stay tuned for that.

All things considered, in this post, we will see the ten most powerful characters in One-Punch Man. Get ready because you will be impressed.

10. Black Sperm

Black Sperm was a dragon-level monster, meaning he was a threat to several cities at the time. In his case, he could even be a threat to several countries.

Every time Black Sperm suffered a fatal attack that would take his life, he would multiply in two and keep multiplying if he had enough cells to do so. By the way, he had an unbelievable 70 trillion cells, demonstrating how overpowered he was.

But like every monster in One Punch Man, he had a weakness, which was the fact that the more he split, the weaker his clones became, but even so, his power was so great that even his clones were able to defeat the S-Class Rank 4 hero, Atomic Samurai, in addition to beating the A-Class Rank 1 hero, Sweet Mask, and also the S-Class Rank 14 hero, Genos.

But his true power was shown in the manga, when he united his 43 trillion cells, transforming into the Golden Sperm form, which was used to easily defeat the S-Class Rank 11 hero, Superalloy Darkshine. And as if that wasn't enough power, the Golden Sperm would later come together with another 11 trillion cells, totaling 54 trillion cells, transforming into his most powerful form, the Platinum Sperm. It demonstrated incredible physical strength and unimaginable speed in this form, being stronger and faster than almost all S-Class heroes, even defeating the S-Class Rank 13 hero Flashy Flash, one of the fastest heroes in the Association of Heroes.

Platinum Sperm would later be defeated by Garou.

9. Sage Centipede

In ninth place, we have the Sage Centipede.

Altogether, four centipedes were shown in the anime and manga, the first being the Junior Centipede, the smallest and weakest of them all. The second was the Senior Centipede, which was already much larger and had a hard shell around its body. The third one was the Elder Centipede, which was already incredibly bigger and way more powerful, to the point of almost destroying an entire city just by moving through it. It was considered the most powerful centipede for quite some time. That changed with the emergence of the Sage Centipede, a centipede of massive proportions, virtually indestructible and with insane destructive power. During its battle against Garou, while chasing him, Sage Centipede reached the atmosphere with part of its body still underground.

In addition, it also had many modified human arms spread all over its body. These arms could stretch out and make devastating attacks. Its threat level was not revealed, but the Sage Centipede was probably above dragon-level.

Sage Centipede was defeated by Garou, being cut in half with a karate chop.

8. Evil Natural Water

Evil Natural Water was a dragon-level monster accidentally created by the Monster Association. They decided to seal it inside a vault as they couldn't control it. But after a while, it broke free.

Evil Natural Water was a body of water with a pair of eyes floating on it that detected and attacked any living being with hostile intent towards it.

This monster could also freely change its form and assimilate any liquid into its body, increasing its size and properties. For example, it became much more dense and rigid when it absorbed the oil from the Sludge Jellyfish monster.

This monster's attacks were in the form of water jets that had abysmal destructive power.

Recently in the manga, the Evil Natural Water had become infinitely more powerful after absorbing the ocean, reaching a size greater than that of a city, thus becoming the Evil Ocean Water. This monster had grown so powerful that its water jets injured even evolved Garou.

But, in the end, it was defeated by Saitama with just one punch.

7. Garou

Since Garou was little, he was fascinated by monsters, and he didn't think it was fair how monsters always lost to heroes. For this reason, he got bullied a lot at school, always getting beaten up by his classmates. So, after all the humiliation, he became determined to get stronger. Garou then went to Bang's dojo to train in martial arts, quickly becoming the top student.

After thinking that he had nothing more to learn, Garou challenged all the students in the dojo and brutally defeated them all. After Bang discovered this, he beat up Garou and kicked him out of the dojo.

After that, Garou continued training alone, with the sole objective of becoming strong enough to defeat all heroes, coming to call himself a hero hunter. In his hunt, he achieved feats such as beating the S-Class Rank 16 hero, Tanktop Master, and later defeating four A-Class and four B-Class heroes at once. Afterward, in the battle against Genos, Bang, and Bomb, he was pushed to his limits, thus breaking his limiter, increasing his potential to astronomical levels, and starting his transformation.

In the manga, well ahead in the story compared to the anime, Garou, now much more powerful and with his transformation completed, managed to defeat Platinum Sperm without much difficulty. Later on, he went so far as to cut Sage Centipede in half, a monster above dragon-level, with a karate chop.

6. Tatsumaki

The S-Class Rank 2 heroine, Tatsumaki, is a human with mighty psychic powers.

Her abilities are so incredible that almost the entire world of One Punch Man believes that there is no being that can defeat her, being regarded as the ultimate weapon of the Hero Association. Of all her abilities, the most powerful is telekinesis. Only with the power of her mind can she lift an entire city.

In the fight against the Hundred-Eyes Octopus, a massive demon-level monster the size of a skyscraper, if not bigger, Tatsumaki effortlessly levitated the monster and crushed it, turning it into a ball of flesh. Her power is also shown during the fight against the fusion of two extremely powerful dragon-level monsters called Orochi and Psykos. In this fight, she overloaded the fusion, twisting them completely, just as we twist a wet rag, and in doing so, she ended up wringing the entire city as well.

These were just a few times she showed her power. No wonder she has the nickname of Tornado of Terror.

5. Orochi + Psykos

After being almost killed by Saitama, Orochi uses his absorption ability to regenerate his body and then goes after Psykos with the intent of absorbing her. However, Psykos resists, and the two end up merging into a huge monster with many tentacles.

Orochi and Psykos were already individually dragon-level monsters. The fusion would already be incredibly powerful, but it would get even stronger after the additional power they received from an entity called God.

The fusion of Orochi and Psykos is considered the strongest fusion so far, surpassing even Tatsumaki, being classified as above dragon-level.

In this fusion, they were able to use telekinesis just like Tatsumaki, alter gravity, change their body with shapeshifting, manipulate electricity, regenerate almost instantly from any attack, and many other abilities in addition to their incredible physical strength and stamina. Their attacks were so powerful that they even cut through the upper part of the Earth's hemisphere.

Tatsumaki defeated them, but this was only possible because of Saitama's accidental help when he punched one of the Orochi + Psykos fusion tentacles, causing them extreme pain and giving Tatsumaki time to react.

4. Boros

Boros was born on a planet where his race evolved to be incredibly strong and resilient due to the severe climate.

Boros gained superpowers from birth, and they only increased with time. Although all members of his race were already very powerful, Boros was even more. He possessed regeneration, physical strength, and combat energy that far surpassed that of all other individuals of his race.

Because he was so powerful, he formed a group and went from planet to planet in search of a worthy opponent until he arrived on planet Earth and met Saitama.

Boros was the first opponent to survive a normal punch from Saitama, which is quite a feat. In addition, he also survived a special attack from Saitama in which he threw several normal punches in a row. It was only after a serious punch that he was defeated. His power was even acknowledged by Saitama himself, who considered him a powerful opponent and even the strongest enemy he had ever faced up to that point.

3. Blast

Blast is the S-Class Rank 1 hero. Everyone considers him the most powerful hero in the Hero Association.

Fifteen years ago, Blast defeated the leader of the Ninja Village, a powerful being who created and commanded the entire organization of ninjas. A little later, on the night of the Ninja Village graduation exam, Blast attacked the village and defeated all the ninjas without any difficulty. The ninja Sonic was the only one who managed to escape.

Blast has enormous physical strength and the ability to create portals that allow him to move through another dimension. In addition, Tatsumaki's sister said that Blast can shoot lasers through his eyes and that he also has psychic powers. She also said that he could defeat the entire S-Class by himself.

2. God

In One-Punch Man, God is arguably the most powerful villain so far. He is a faceless humanoid creature that can give powers to other beings.

An example of this is the Homeless Emperor, a simple human who revolted against society and instantly became a dragon-level threat after gaining powers from God.

Imagining the absurd power that a mere human has gained, the power of God must be much more ridiculous. There are also mysterious cubes scattered around the world. God will talk telepathically with anyone who comes into contact with one of those cubes and then ask the individual for a wish. If the person is worthy of that wish, God will grant it. If not, the person will be "forfeited".

So far, God has not manifested in flesh and bone. He has only appeared through telepathy, trying to lure people into accepting his deal for a wish, as he did to Tatsumaki.

In summary, he is a God or an individual of some highly advanced alien species. In my opinion, he will likely be the first creature in the series to be officially classified as a God-level entity.

1. Saitama

Saitama is, without a doubt, the strongest character in One-Punch Man. No matter how strong his opponent is, he will defeat it with just one punch.

Saitama is an indifferent person. Even the most powerful enemies pose no challenge to him, so he doesn't take his hero job too seriously. His only wish is to find an opponent who can offer him a challenge.

The lack of worthy opponents led him to suffer an existential crisis, diminishing his ability to feel any kind of emotion other than boredom and anger.

Saitama has so far shown three types of punches; the normal punch, where he punches his enemy, putting very little force and no effort at all, but already being enough to kill most monsters. The next one is the normal punch sequence, where Saitama delivers several of his normal punches in a row. And third, the serious punch. This one is already much more powerful. Saitama once managed to change the climate of almost an entire country with just the shock wave of this punch.

But we can all agree on one thing. No matter how strong Saitama has punched in the series or in the manga, 100% of the time, he was holding back tremendously, so we can't even imagine how strong Saitama's full power punch would be, but I can guarantee that a punch with that level of power would at least destroy an entire planet, for sure.
